NDIS Mentoring Support: A Pathway to Supported Independent Living
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government program that provides funding for supports and services to help people with disabilities live their lives to the fullest. One of the supports that can be funded under the NDIS is mentoring.
Mentoring is a one-to-one relationship between a mentor and a mentee. The mentor is someone who has experience and knowledge in the area that the mentee is interested in. The mentor provides support, guidance, and advice to the mentee. . If you are interested in receiving mentoring support, I encourage you to talk to your NDIS planner about how to find a mentor.
